A good Dianabol cycle is hard to beat if you ask an experienced performance enhancer. Much of its popularity resides in the ranks of competitive bodybuilding and power lifting. For the purpose of pilling on mass and increasing strength, the Methandrostenolone hormone provides these traits at a rapid rate. Many are familiar with the popular steroid Anadrol, that is considered the premier oral steroid for size and strength. However, on a milligram for milligram basis Dianabol blows it out of the water when it comes to strength and power. It is far more potent on a per milligram basis. Here’s how to plan a Dianabol cycle.
Off-Season Dianabol Cycle:
Most who supplement with the Methandrostenolone hormone will do so in off-season mode, when they are trying to grow and become stronger. This steroid can be used all alone but it shouldn’t be. Dbol will suppress your natural testosterone production, so it is advised to administer exogenous testosterone. There are two choices for the off-season Dianabol cycle, in more hard-core elite circles a combination of both is also used:
- Kick Starting:
This is the most common point of Dianabol use. It simply refers to the beginning of a total stacked cycle in a priming sense. While “priming” is often mentioned, most use it here simply because they’re eager to see gains quickly. A Dianabol cycle will generally last for 6 weeks, with 4 weeks generally being the minimum and 8 weeks being the maximum. Once use is completed the total cycle will continue without the Dianabol but by this time more foundational steroids are well into the athlete’s system allowing for progression to continue.
- Plateau Busting:
This refers to a point during cycle in-which the individual stagnates, gains are no longer coming. This can occur at any time during a cycle, but in most cases, it begins to show around the 8-10 week, when the body begins to adapt. This is where a Dianabol cycle can really be useful. If it is beneficial at the beginning of a cycle, it is even more efficient here. When the new hormone is introduced and as it is so powerful the plateau is busted and progression begins again. A typical Dianabol cycle is often only 4 weeks and will rarely go past 6 weeks.
There are some who will use Dianabol for a kick start and as a plateau buster, but this is not recommend. It will work but it can be quite toxic to the liver, so it’s use is recommended to be kept short and brief to maintain optimal liver health.
Cutting Dianabol Cycle:
There is a common myth that states Dianabol makes you gain fat. The Methandrostenolone hormone does aromatize and can cause a lot of water retention, but this bloating is not fat. If this is a bad issue for you, a good aromatase inhibitor will eliminate concern. In short, if you’re eating properly and supplementing responsibly, water retention will not be a problem and if it does occur is certainly not body-fat.
This steroid’s primary nature is increasing size and strength, but it can serve secondary purposes apt for other goals. During a diet Dianabol will help you maintain strength levels that normally drop when in a calorie deficit. Dbol will also help to preserve lean tissue. As for the competitive bodybuilder, this steroid can be used during a diet, but not at the tail-end due to its aromatase factor. To sum up, the Methandrostenolone hormone is maybe not the best anabolic steroid for cutting but if it is what you have available or can afford it will get the job done.
